Persons of Ukrainian nationality receive a certificate stating that their stay has been extended until the Temporary Protection Directive expires; this means that the person is residing lawfully in the Netherlands despite the expiry of the scheme for displaced persons in Ukraine sticker. Children under the age of 14 will not receive proof of residency. But the IND put in the system whether they come under the directive. Children come under the directive if a parent comes under the directive.
